Jim professional photography experience spams 20 years. He started his career in family and children portraits. With a passion for all genres of photography, he made a move to fashion and commercial photography. His commercial and advertising work lead him to architecture and real estate photography. Today Jim uses his experience to provide stunning images that capture the moment in the best possible light.

After 22 years of photography, I’ve come to understand lighting, exposure, composition, speed, and accuracy.

I believe that my work captures the feeling of awe I experience when I submerge myself in novel urban and natural environments and conveys the humility I feel when I delve into the unsurpassable beauty of people’s everyday lives and interactions. Received my Bachelor’s of Arts in Film & Digital Media Production at University of California Santa Cruz (UCSC) in June, 2012. Most recent published book is a collaboration work with the award-winning author and candida expert Ann Boroch. Currently running a Multimedia & Photography Studio located in Colorado and serving clients worldwide.

Ryan Johnson is an award-winning documentary, portrait, travel, humanitarian, and commercial photographer. Over the past ten years, Ryan has traveled to 40+ countries to shoot in some of the most remote and demanding environments on earth. Whether it's a family portrait session or an adventurous commercial photoshoot, Ryan is up for the challenge.
