“I love to connect with people and share moments that bring true emotion and sincerity into the portraits I create of my clients. My skills are a marriage of nearly two decades as a professional photographer and eight years of teaching yoga. The tools I rely on are mindfulness, an eye for alignment, breath work, and helping my clients get into a pose.” Derek Goodwin earned a BFA in Photography from RIT before he spent a decade in Massachusetts photographing weddings and portraits. He spent the next eight years in Brooklyn teaching yoga and specializing in headshots and yoga portfolios. He also worked as a real estate photographer for commercial and residential clients in Manhattan. He now calls Colorado his home and is in love with the beautiful landscapes and friendly people who live here.
