Ricky believes that photography transcends words, encapsulating lifelong emotions and meanings within each frame. A university-trained journalist now focusing exclusively on photography, I hail from Eastern Europe. As a schoolgirl I roamed the streets of that peerless Slavic metropolis (not alone, of course), honing my black-and-white skills on Grandpa's cherished prewar Leica. Now based in Houston, Texas, I am committed to putting my subjects at ease and capturing them in their finest moments, candid or posed. My photography emanates from deep within me - motivated and inspired, above all, by my love of the art and for my subjects, and for capturing everything that is human in every image.
