His first love was sports photography, having worked for baseball little leagues, Tennis tournaments and national olympics competitions. This led him to mix photography with his other passion: music. Since 2015, he photographed at least 150 bands each years, from local newcomers in little to major worldwide stars in arenas. He also works for the local news papers, covering all sorts of events, from hockey games to political rallies and election nights. He still finds time to work on personal projects adn do portrait work in his own studio.

With 10 years of experience, Charly Amazan has been working with Le Nouvelliste — the oldest newspaper in the Caribbean, with over 125 years of existence — since 2016. He has collaborated with several major companies and has covered important events both locally and internationally, capturing memorable and meaningful moments. He also works on commercial photography projects for brands and businesses.
