Kate is a licensed counselor turned portrait photographer. She loves providing a safe and relaxed environment to connect and capture candid images that tell the story of individuals, professional teams, families, and events. As a lifelong artist (B.A. in Art) with studies in drawing, painting, and photography, Kate has always loved work with a focus on light, depth, and meaning. You'll find her photography style reflects this- it is natural, clean light-filled, and full of emotion and connection.

I've always been fascinated by photography. I was always that girl who brought disposable cameras to every field trip and camp trip. I took a black-and-white film class in college that rocked my world. It slowed me down and I really learned that photography is a very detailed art form. I am always working on my craft, whether that be doing one-on-one mentorships, or renting new gear to try out. I have 10 years of experience under my belt as well.
