Erika Stewart is an experience professional photographer who started her passion in Detroit, MI. She went through intense courses at Grand Valley State University successfully completing courses in Studio, Digital, Experimental and Film Photography. Erika loves taking on challenging tasks and brainstorming how to portray her client's vision. She is an upbeat creative who is easy to work with and open to ideas.

I am a photographer with over five years of professional experience specializing in portrait, event, and lifestyle photography. As a team leader at a high-volume photography studio, I have directed and executed hundreds of photo sessions in dynamic environments, capturing school portraits, sports photography, and candid event imagery across the Detroit area. My role has strengthened my ability to adapt quickly, lead creative teams, and consistently deliver high-quality results under tight timelines. Alongside my studio work, I pursue freelance photography focused on creative storytelling, food photography, and visually driven content creation. I am passionate about combining technical precision with artistic vision to create images that feel authentic, engaging, and impactful. I continually refine my craft through hands-on experience, experimentation, and a commitment to growth within the evolving photography industry.

Graduated from the University of Manchester with a master's degree in England. Started as a professional photographer in Buffalo NY. Currently living in Northville, MI, US. Specialize in wedding photography, engagement photography,new born baby portrait, children, senior portrait, family photography, boudoir photography, event photography, commercial photography and real estate photography.

I have been working in the area of photography since a very early age. I began training with my uncle who was teaching me how to photograph with an old Soviet camera called “Zenit”. Back in those days we didn’t have digital cameras, and everything was done on film. Together we took photographs, processed films and observed the processed negative with the help of magnifying glass. We would choose the best photos and manufacture them using exposure – development – printing process with the help of sophisticated hardware: special photosensitive chemicals, enlarger, special photo-paper, dark room with special lighting used in the photo-manufacturing process, toning solutions, as well as trays, measuring glass ware, thermometers, drying screens, timers, mixing and stirring paddles, and paper cutters. This process was so breathtaking that its difficult for me to fully convey the excitement and emotions that it had on me. Since then, many years have passed.

Brian has been a professional full-time photographer since 1992. He is Considered to be an all purpose professional photographer. Brian excels in a broad form of photography from corporate events and head shots to private one on one portraiture, Brian has consistently excelled in quality service and quick turnaround and indelible customer service. Brian has also mentored numerous photographers over the years and has won both local and national awards for outstanding portraiture. He is a member in good standing with the professional photographers of America and in the past has become a certified professional photographer.
