How did you get started with photography

I always treated photography with special love throughout my childhood. Never knew I'd take this up as my career then, until I did my first solo travel in the age of 16 to Thailand where my film camera became my companion. Over the years my passion for travel grew and it eventually took me to New York to learn the art of photography which serves as my medium of expression of my travels and explorations.

What do you love about your job?

Photography is essentially a visual documentation of my adventures of places, faces and experiences around the world. It is a way of story-telling. Every visual story I tell, makes me learn; Makes me learn about the world and learn about myself. The love of travel keeps me pushing for better visual content and the art of photography keeps me pushing to travel deeper; Which is what I love the most about my job.

What are some of your favorite places in Hobart to take photographs?

My favourite place to shoot in Hobart is MONA (Museum of Old and New Art). It not only gives me interesting architecture but also gives me an opportunity to find several intriguing faces for portraiture. I also love photographing on random streets of Hobart at specific times of the day so I can come up with interesting cityscapes, street shots and again, portraits.
