D. Crain is an Atlanta-based portrait photographer that is known to create colorful images reflecting both physical and emotional diversity in nature. My goal is to continue my journey of capturing life through still images.

I’m the marketing photographer for the largest sports and entertainment event in the nation. I’ve been published in Sports Illustrated, Billboard Magazine, People, the Houston Chronicle, and many other publications. I never settle for good enough, I strive to blow clients away with the quality of my work and my ability to meet deadlines.

For over two decades, my heart has been captivated by the enchanting world of photography. It all began in my childhood when I first delved into the realm of a film camera. Discovering the ability to immortalize moments with that magical device forever changed the trajectory of my life. My photographic journey started as a self-taught artist, navigating the vibrant streets of Rio de Janeiro, my beloved hometown. Back then, specialized courses and dedicated magazines were scarce, but my passion fueled an insatiable hunger for knowledge, driving me to educate myself and absorb every drop of wisdom available. Over the years, my expertise grew, and I had the privilege of imparting my knowledge in photography schools, honing my skills even further. Gradually, I found my niche in the art of wedding and portrait photography. Indeed, capturing the essence of people through my lens is my deepest passion. Each click feels like an exhilarating adventure, as I immortalize the captivating stories of individuals I've never met before. I firmly believe that every soul carries a unique narrative, and my mission is to seek and reveal the extraordinary beauty within each person. For me, photography transcends the mere act of taking pictures; it is a transformative journey that empowers and touches the hearts of those it portrays. Through my artistry, I aim to gift others with a newfound vision of themselves, igniting a sense of empowerment and self-discovery. This, to me, is the essence of photography - a remarkable force that has the ability to illuminate the inner beauty of each person and the world they inhabit.

As a Photographer and Videographer, I will capture key moments, things, people interacting, laughing, dancing and overall, just enjoying their time at a party, gathering, event or any place. Postproduction (also known as the editing phase), will allow me to highlight and put emphasis on key people, moments and things while creating a warm intimate and cinematic feel that is unique to each individual and event or specific to the client's needs.

I have been an an active photographer for 5 years now. Through this time I had the opportunity to work different people, businesses and organizations. I babe also sold some of my pieces in art shows, galleries and through my online store.
