Some of his work has covered the Chepang mountain people of Nepal, trekking life in the Himalayas, rural Sinhalese landscapes, and a variety of south Asian street photography. He grew up in the San Francisco bay area where he attended school at the Academy of Arts University and attained a bachelor of fine arts in film.
