Hello! I'm Somaya, but you can call me Soo an experienced photographer with a passion for capturing enduring moments. Over the past 7 years, I've gained global experience, from bustling New York to scenic Europe, and from the vibrant cultures of Spain to the luxurious landscapes of Dubai and Saudi Arabia. During this time, I've had the privilege of photographing hundreds of sessions. My journey into photography began at the age of 12 when my brother gifted me my first camera, igniting a lifelong dedication to this art form. Specializing in newborn, wedding, product, and food photography, I thrive on capturing genuine emotions and creating images that evoke cherished memories. Seyha was stationed overseas as part of his time in service and he knew that he wanted to keep the memories he made from his travels, so he preserved those moments through a camera lens, even with a Kodak film from Walgreens. From Polaroids to digital cameras, there was not a lifeless photo taken!

I love to create! I have been taking photos for about 8 years now, started taking it more seriously about 4 years ago. I have traveled across the country in cars older than I am with one goal in mind - To capture beautiful, real, genuine moments of people and the world they are living in. There is no better way to train or practice photography than driving 5000+ miles and seeing nearly every sunrise and sunset over a 3-week period. I have lately been shooting live concerts and events, in addition to working on studio work with some of these artists.

Justin is an experienced and playful photographer who specializes in family photography. He’s been a photographer for several years and part time professionally for the past 3 years. He lives in Lake County, IL with his wife and three children where he draws inspiration from the many nearby forest preserves and wetlands.

Ive been taking photos for the last 5 years. I have a wide range of experience from doing concerts, weddings and family portraits. I love capturing the moment for others to be able to keep and value.

Kim is a professional photographer in the Chicago area who has been working with clients for 7 years. She loves working with people and that makes a big impact on her photography style. She is a portrait photographer but also has experience shooting weddings, events, real estate and products.

Martha was born in Mexico City. In 2013 she moved to Chicago to pursue her BFA in photography from School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She does freelance photography, mainly food, portrait and event photography. Her photos have been published in several books: Soy Guelaguetza, Oaxaca y Sus Cocineras, Ritmo Color y Movimiento, and Zapotec Identity. She recently finished her Masters on Art Direction from La Bassad, Barcelona.

Andrew is a commercial photographer and photojournalist based in and around Chicago. His background in graphic design and art direction directly informs his work—he considers how images will be used within a design and the overall art direction and creative strategy. He has photographed product and marketing imagery for DoorDash, covered national news with SOPA Images—a globally recognized wire service—and produced commercial and corporate imagery for clients across industries including automotive, industrial design, manufacturing, and beyond. Whether in fast-moving, high-pressure environments or a commercial studio, he approaches each assignment with intent, creating images that serve their purpose and fit seamlessly into the broader visual language.
