Working with the advertising, editorial, architectural, and corporate communities, I managed a full-service studio in downtown Memphis where we successfully created images that were informative, compelling, entertaining, and inspiring.

John Sklba was born into a photography business. He's had a camera in his hands since he was a teenager shooting everything from weddings to waterfalls.

I have a passion for beautiful photography. From capturing images of people, to architecture, food and everyday life. I've been a professional photographer for over 15 years, and the 15 years before that I shot freelance as a fashion photographer. I've written several books on photography training. I've been published worldwide in books and magazines. I've worked with major companies like Walmart, Fed Ex, and Technicolor. I've had the pleasure of working on shoots with American Idol superstars, and my favorite person to photograph was Dierks Bentley for a national campaign. I love, love, love photography.

I’m entirely self-taught, gaining my expertise through hands-on experience, client work, and continuous learning.
