I have been a photographer for over 6 years. In this time, I have worked on different projects for various different clients. Many of them were very small, working with a group or on a shoestring budget. But because I have always wanted to push myself and push the industry forward, even when it seemed unlikely, I never gave up. Being an entrepreneur has afforded me many opportunities I would not have had otherwise: the ability to work on my passions in ways that were not possible before.

Despite taking Photography in college, Derek Samaha would be considered self-taught. His curiosity about photography went beyond any textbook or classroom setting. Over the last 7 years, he has had a prospering career that has taken him all over the world, shooting everything from events, weddings, high-end corporate clients, to everyday lovely humans. His passion is evident in both his interactions with whomever he's shooting, and his final product.
