I met Sinan by chance at an event he was photographing in his spare time for his own personal practice and networking. We started chatting music and half spoke about doing a live photo shoot for my band at an upcoming event. I later decided to go for it and book in the full works with Sinan. He spent the whole day at my performance capturing not only the action of our act but also some pre show conversations, the crowd engagement, and some post show smiles. He managed to get some incredible pictures whilst remaining mostly out of the way and in the background, even though I told him to get up in the action if you think you’ll get a great shot. Sinan left me with a well organised Google Drive folder filled with a heap of brilliant, useable images. Not only does Sinan take a great picture, he’s also a lovely bloke and I’d happily have him back again when I’m in need of some fresh snaps.
